"I have been painting seriously for more than three decades and in all that time I have come to the conclusion that the act of spreading paint and making marks on a canvas is, in itself, seductive and deeply satisfying. However, as with all creative acts, painting is more than that physical act. Rather, painting is a unique melding of both the spysical and intellect with the intent of producting that same satisfaction and participation in the viewer. In other words, we hope to communicate something."
