Festival Rules & Regulations

Check-in Procedure:
-All paintings submitted for judging for this event must be created ENTIRELY and WHOLLY on site at the designated location in the Amana area, during the period of the event, Sept. 5th -Sept. 7th, 2009, in the true spirit of Plein Air painting! Any paintings deemed to be constructed entirely or in part off-site will NOT be eligible for judging or any awards.
-ALL ARTISTS MUST CHECK IN AT Catiri’s Art Oasis IN PERSON DURING THE DATES OF THE EVENT.
-All artist base material must be stamped with an official Catiri’s Art Oasis’s Plein Air “Fresh Paint”, stamp on the back of the canvas/board/paper. ONLY BLANK CANVASES/BOARDS/PAPERS WILL BE STAMPED. There will be no limit to the number of stamps given to any individual artist.
-A map will be provided of the Amanas and outlines areas to paint. Artists must stay within the allowed areas only, and need to respect the privacy of any private properties in the area.

Submissions:
-Entries to be submitted for judging must be delivered NO later than 5pm Sept. 9th.
-Artists must submit no more than 2 paintings for judging.
-Artists must fill out the proper submission form in order for their works to be eligible for judging and sale.
-Unregistered participants are ineligible for judging/awards.

Judging:
-Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners. There will also be a peoples choice award.
-Judging will commence between Sept. 9th & 10th.
-Judging panel will be announced very soon.

Artist Reception &Award Ceremony:
-Sept. 13th - 3pm to 5pm
