For over three decades, Jon Anderson has been refining his "Fiore" technique and creating these amazing polymer animal sculptures by hand. Each one is individual in design and personality. Jon's incredible work is only available through Fimocreations, a company created for the sole purpose of sharing this talented artist with select museums, shops and galleries in North America.
These days working with Fimo is as natural as breathing for Jon. It is his life's blood and his driving passion. This dedication has elevated him to the absolute pinnacle of his craft and he is acknowledged as the most accomplished polymer clay artist in the world today. His work is about repetition, design movement and respect for the light source. But he first works for months building massive canes, acquiring an impressive palette of images inspired by Moroccan geometrics and peyote visions. Jon lives and works on a beach in Bali where his leisure time is spent on coral reef restoration and pleasant snorkeling with it's local residents. Animals are a precious resource, not only here in the United States but worldwide. Far too many are threatened with habitat destruction and environmental pollution for profit. We are committed to causes that preserve and protect all of God's creatures and to that end donate a portion of our profits each year to worthy causes that share our beliefs. This year we are contributing to the Defenders of Wildlife, whose lobbying efforts help encourage Congress to acknowledge that Americans want animal preservation, habitat conservation and environment friendly legislation. Fimocreations is a family business located in the beautiful Red Rock Country of Northern Arizona. |
